60 Minutes to Mindfulness
The 60 Minutes to Mindfulness course is an overview session suitable for all employees. Participants will be introduced to the topic of mindfulness and take part in a number of exercises which will show them how they can exercise mindfulness as they go about their day-to-day work. Each participant will leave the session with their own Mindful Toolkit.
The health and safety of people in the workplace is the responsibility of both the employer and employee. The Stress Management Course will help provide strategies for helping the self and others manage stress and develop resilience.
During the workshop we identify causes within and outside the workplace, and work with the individual's to find possible strategies for coping and help them develop an understanding of the importance of personal responsibility whilst building on personal resilience.
The Assertiveness Techniques course is designed for people who wish to develop their skills in communicating more assertively and confidently, with mindfulness. It aims to help people to learn what assertiveness means, and to develop confidence and techniques to help them respond in a calm and positive way rather than reacting aggressively or passively. In turn these skills will help employees communicate with external and internal stakeholders appropriately in a broad range of situations.
Coaching and Mentoring
Coaching and mentoring are development techniques carried out in one-to-one discussion, with the aim of enhancing an individual's skills, knowledge and work performance and the ability to cope. Individuals’ needs and goals will be assessed, and the sessions will work through ways in which these can be achieved.
The Appraisal Training course is for management level staff, and aims to give those delivering appraisals the knowledge, skills and confidence required to undertake effective performance reviews.
Candidates will understand the importance of an effective appraisal system and the responsibility they have to those whom they’re giving appraisals to. Candidates will have the opportunity to practice the required skills.
Resilience is the ability to adapt well and recover quickly after stress or adversity. Candidates on this course will learn how personal responsibility and lifestyle factors plan a major roll in the ability to bounce back. We will work with the participants to develop a personal development plan, which will help them work towards managing the challenges they face to improve their wellbeing.
Relaxation techniques are any method, process, procedure, or activity that helps a person to relax; to attain a state of increased calmness; or otherwise reduce levels of pain, anxiety, stress or anger. Relaxation plays a vital role in resilience and this course will focus on developing skills and techniques suitable for the individual both within the workplace and in personal life, such as mediation, using the breath and the body scan.
The Mindful Mentor
The Mindful Mentor course helps develop a team of specialists to support and maintain momentum following initial training, helping to sustain a mindful workplace. Chosen individuals will be taught the fundamentals of mindfulness, and given the tools and techniques for encouraging mindful behaviour. They will be taught how to run their own workshops, meetings and group discussions with colleagues to implement mindfulness techniques.
The Mindful Manager
The Mindful Manager course provides managers with the understanding of mindfulness and how it can be used in the workplace to build personal and team resilience, improve performance and reduce workplace stress
